31/05/2021 Cresswell & Druridge Pools, Northumberland

Eurasian Stonechat, East Chevington

Spent a few hours along the coast today. Started off with a sea watch at Snab Point and chalked up a pale morph Pomarine Skua and a Roseate Tern alongside Puffins, Eider and Razorbills. A quick look at Cresswell Pond was a disappointment but held three 1st winter Little Gulls.
From Cresswell I went to the Budge Field at Druridge and saw a dubious Ruddy Shelduck, drake Garganey, Bar-tailed Godwit and Avocet.
East Chevington lane & dunes gave a nice Stonechat. Glyphipterix simpliciella and Micropterix calthella moths were found in the dunes.
