Spent the morning looking for migrants at Snettisham Coastal Park. Lots of variety today. I had 2 new year ticks with one each of Reed Warbler & Grasshopper Warbler. Also on show were 6 Whimbrel, 1 male Ring Ouzel, 2 Whitethroat, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, lots of Sedge Warblers, Willow Warblers, Blackcaps & Chiffchaffs. There was also a steady stream of hirundines passing through.

I spent an hour at Roydon Common on the way home to see if there were any Ring Ouzels present. I found 3 nice but timid males. A pair of Stonechats were taking food back and forward to their little hidey hole and a pair of Cuckoos showed well. There were 38 Wheatears on the reserve today.
