02/06/2021 Aviemore & Cairngorm

My Deer friend. A Red Deer doe making sure that the Deer fence worked.

The morning was spent in the Craigellachie Nature Reserve looking for and finding Wood Warblers. Common Redstart, Spotted and Pied Flycatchers were also present.
Moths were represented by Silver Y, Common Heath and Marsh Pug.

Cairngorm, in the afternoon, let me see Ring Ouzel, Red Grouse, Ancylis unguicella a new moth for me and Golden Eagle high overhead. Ospreys were on their local nest allowing distant views.
